We offer delivery across the continental United States using specialized transport vehicles equipped for container delivery.
Shipping Rates:
Flat-Rate Delivery within 100 miles of our depot: $500
Calculated Delivery beyond 100 miles: Rates vary by distance, container size, and delivery location.
Free Local Pickup is available by appointment.

🏗 Container Delivery Requirements
To ensure a smooth delivery, please review the following:
Site Access: A minimum of 14 ft wide clearance and 20 ft overhead clearance
Surface Type: Level, firm ground (e.g., concrete, gravel, or compacted dirt)
Space: At least 80 ft of straight-line space for 40ft containers (50 ft for 20ft containers)
Permits: Customers are responsible for checking and securing any local permits, if required
📦 Delivery Methods
We use one of the following methods based on your location and order:
Tilt Tray Delivery – Our tilt tray transporters are available in various configurations to suit the size and quantity of your shipping containers. The most commonly used option is our 20′ tilt tray truck, which can carry either one 20′ container or two 10′ containers. For larger deliveries, we also offer an optional 20′ trailer that can be attached to the tilt tray truck, enabling the transport of an additional 20′ container—allowing for two 20′ containers to be delivered in a single trip.
Side Loading Delivery – Side loaders are ideal for transporting 20-foot and 40-foot shipping containers, especially to sites with limited access at the front or rear of the delivery area. This delivery method allows for precise placement, as the container is unloaded between the side loader’s outrigger legs—positioned approximately half a metre from the side of the truck. It’s the most efficient option for tight or restricted spaces.
- Hiab Delivery — A Hiab transporter is a crane-mounted truck used for delivering shipping containers to locations where access is too limited for a tilt tray or side loader. The crane allows for precise placement of containers, even at an angle or on raised areas. It’s also ideal for lifting containers over fences, walls, or other obstacles. Hiab transporters can deliver 10-foot, 20-foot, and 40-foot containers with ease.
- Semi Trailer Delivery — Semi trailer delivery is often a more cost-effective option; however, it requires the customer to have suitable equipment—such as a forklift or crane—on-site to off-load the container upon arrival. This method involves transport via a flatbed trailer, and unloading is not provided by PSC. We recommend this option only if you have the necessary resources available at the delivery location.

Once your order is confirmed:
You’ll receive a confirmation email
Our dispatch team will contact you to arrange a delivery date
The driver will call 30–60 minutes before arrival
❌ Delivery Issues & Returns
Shipping containers are final sale items, but we’re committed to resolving any delivery issues.
If your container arrives damaged or incorrect:
Take clear photos of the issue immediately
Contact our customer support within 24 hours
We will assess and resolve the issue on a case-by-case basis
1. Delivery Coverage
We deliver shipping containers nationwide within the United States and also to other countries.
Delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, and other U.S. territories may be available on a case-by-case basis — please contact us before placing your order.
2. Delivery Process
Once your payment is confirmed, our team will:
Schedule your delivery date.
Confirm delivery details with you (site access, space, and ground conditions).
Dispatch your container via a trusted transport partner.
Typical delivery time is 1–10 business days after order confirmation, depending on location and container availability.
3. Delivery Requirements
Please ensure:
The delivery site is flat, firm, and accessible for large trucks.
There is adequate space for the truck to maneuver and unload the container safely.
You or an authorized representative is available on-site at delivery.
If delivery cannot be completed due to inaccurate site information or access issues, additional re-delivery fees may apply.
4. Delivery Fees
Delivery costs vary based on:
Distance from the nearest depot
Container size and weight
Delivery conditions and location accessibility
All delivery fees are clearly quoted before order confirmation.
5. Inspection Upon Delivery
Upon arrival, please inspect your container before the driver departs.
If you notice any major damage or discrepancy, notify us immediately at info@shippingcontainersalesusa.com with photos and details.
Minor wear, dents, or rust on used containers are normal and do not qualify as damage.
6. Delays
While we make every effort to meet scheduled delivery dates, delays may occur due to weather, transportation issues, or logistics constraints.
We will communicate promptly regarding any expected delays.
